Chemistry Alumnus Daniel Dirocco named 2017 Talented 12

For three years in a row, c&en Chemical & Engineering News have named 12 top chemists who are rising above the rest as new up and comers in the chemistry world. This year, our very own alumnus, Daniel Dirocco was named on of the Talented 12 Class of 2017!

Daniel, who received his Ph.D. and studied under Tomislav Rovis at Colorado State University,  now leads the catalysis group in process chemistry at Merck & Co. Check out what Daniel’s research involves, how he uses chemistry to master the perfect lager, and more about the Talented 12 here.
