Giving To Chemistry

_________________________________________________________________________________________________

Henry_Chuck_2The Chemistry Department is a growing, active, and vibrant community of scholars at all levels. Gifts and donations to the Department from friends, alumni, and corporate sponsors enable us to continue our long standing tradition of excellence in chemistry education and research. Your generous donations allow us to support activities ranging from undergraduate scholarships for chemistry majors, to graduate research fellowships, to support for faculty research, and finally to attract and retain some of the brightest minds in Chemistry.

Now is a particularly exciting time to contribute to the Chemistry Department as we work towards starting construction on a new building, as part of a larger science complex, to expand our research and teaching capabilities. In addition, we are also working towards completion of the Bob Williams endowed Chair. Endowed Chairs allow us to attract and retain faculty who have established visible international profiles. Finally, we are also working towards completing the endowments for a number of undergraduate scholarships – most notably the DiVerdi fund. This fund provides support for a deserving undergraduate and is given in honor of Dr. Leslie DiVerdi.

On behalf of the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University, thank you for your support to help ensure our students, faculty, teaching, and research continues to grow for years to come.
