Building the Future of Chemistry: The New Chemistry Research Building
A new state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratory facility
We are building a new state-of-the-art teaching and research laboratory facility, a home for students to learn side-by-side with leading scientists to solve global challenges. The new chemistry building will provide 60,000 SF of additional hood-intensive lab space, integrating collaborative student and faculty research across multiple areas of chemistry. It will be located on the “Science Mall,” just east of the current Chemistry Building.
Invest in Chemistry
The total estimated cost of the facility is $55.4 million, funded in part by the state legislature. Your gift will provide much needed equipment and other enhancements to the building. Let’s invest in the Department of Chemistry and its incredible momentum to create a world-class powerhouse for the chemical sciences.
