Executive Assistant to the Department Chair, Kristin Berthold, was honored at the Classified Personnel Council Awards Ceremony. Kristin was awarded one of the five Classified Personnel Council (CPC) Outstanding Achievement Awards (university wide). The award celebrates meritorious and outstanding achievements to the University by state classified employees.
Chemistry Department Chair, Matt Shores, made the nomination saying, “the success of CSU depends not only on its faculty, students, and staff carrying out their individual endeavors but also on the cohesion between these activities. Ms. Kristin Berthold excels in providing this cohesion within the chemistry department and beyond. She is the glue that not only makes each component work but also excel together. Kristin Berthold is currently the Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chair of the Department of Chemistry, supporting the Chair and helping the faculty and staff function optimally. The most endearing aspects of Kristin are that she is always quick with a smile, always positive, and gliding like a swan while paddling like crazy underneath the surface.”
