 complex heterocyclic natural products. His list of achievements puts Fukuy
 ama in a class by himself. He received his B.S. Degree in Chemistry from N
 agoya University in 1971\, and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry fr
 om Nagoya University in 1973. He attended Harvard University and with his 
 mentor Prof. Yoshito Kishi\, he received his Ph.D. in 1977. In 2012\, he m
 oved to Nagoya University as Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and is c
 urrently the “Designated Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences. 9:00 am
