Description:About the Seminar: \n\n2D electrically conductive metal-organi
c frameworks (EC-MOFs) represent a distinctive class of porous electronic
materials with significant potential in applications ranging from energy s
torage to advanced electronics. However\, their broader impact has been li
mited by the constrained diversity of structural motifs and chemical funct
ionalities. In this talk\, I will present our research efforts demonstrati
ng how molecular approaches drive the advancement of EC-MOFs by tailoring
their electronic properties and functionalities. These strategies include
novel linker design and post-synthetic modifications that leverage coordin
ation chemistry to introduce functional molecules\, enabling precise contr
ol over electronic\, chemical\, physical\, and optical properties. By syst
ematically exploring the structure-property-performance relationships\, we
aim to establish guiding principles for the rational design of high-perfo
rmance EC-MOF materials tailored for emerging applications.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
