Description:Overview:\n\nAs I spent my days researching away in the chemist
ry labs here at CSU over 20 years ago\, little did I imagine the possibili
ties that awaited me working at Procter and Gamble.  Through my graduate
experience\, I could envision a future as an academic researcher or even a
s a scientist at a National Laboratory.  I had little to no idea what to
expect as a researcher in industry.  At this session\, I will share an ov
erview of R&amp\;D at P&amp\;G\, give some examples of the types of work r
esearchers do and provide time for Q&amp\;A conversation.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAb
out the Speaker:\n\nDr. Kristina Gansle earned a BS in Chemistry at Bethan
y College in Bethany\, WV.  She was awarded her PhD in Analytical Chemist
ry at Colorado State University in 1998 on the “Investigation and Develo
pment of Liquid-Liquid Extraction Systems for the Removal of Pertechnetate
from Aqueous Nuclear Waste Stream Simulants” under the direction of Dr.
Steve Strauss.  Dr. Gansle is currently Senior Director of the Fabric an
d Home Care Analytical and Microbiology organization at Procter and Gamble
