Description:About the seminar:\n\nChen et al. developed a supramolecular
dynamic cross-linking strategy to compatibilize immiscible mixed plastics
using small-molecule cross-linkers capable of hydrogen bonding or ionic in
teractions. Through in situ grafting during reactive extrusion\, these c
ross-linkers form dynamic networks that dramatically enhance the mechanica
 l properties of nonpolar/nonpolar\, nonpolar/polar\, and polar/polar blend
 s. This scalable\, noncovalent approach enables multiple recycling cycles
of postconsumer plastics without loss of performance\, advancing the desig
n of sustainable and circular polymer systems. 4:00 pm
