Description:Hello Researchers!\n\nCSU PASS is excited to announce the 6th a
 nnual Postdoc Research Symposium is just around the corner! Join us on Mar
 ch 7th\, 2025 for an edifying day of research and conversation. Presenters
  will compete for lots of sponsored cash prizes!\n\nPlease see the attache
 d ‘Call for abstracts’ for abstract submission details and deadlines. 
 You can RSVP\, volunteer to judge\, and submit an abstract at this RSVP li
 nk (https://forms.gle/GjuMQDRnKxAP8y3AA). Faculty\, staff\, graduate stude
 nts\, and undergraduates are eligible and encouraged to judge!\n\nSubmit a
 bstracts for oral (10 min and 3 min talks) and poster presentations. Any p
 ostdoc\, research scientist\, or instructor holding a doctorate degree and
  not in a tenure track position can submit an abstract for presentation. N
 otifications regarding abstract submissions will be sent out February 21st
 !\n\nAbstract submission\, should be 500 words or less. Notifications rega
 rding presentation acceptance and spot will be sent out on February 21st.

 ng submissions.\n\nGuidelines for preparing and submitting an oral or post
 er presentation\nAs an interdisciplinary event\, the Postdoc Research Symp
 osium incorporates posters and talks that cover a\nvariety of topics and d
 isciplines. Any CSU research affiliate—holding a Doctorate degree and no
 t in a tenure\ntrack position—can submit an abstract to present a poster
  or oral presentation.\n\nPoster presentations:\n1. Your poster can be tai
 lored toward a technical audience\, but presenters should note that the au
 dience will come from a broad array of backgrounds.\n\n2. Posters will be 
 scored based on the Objective/Purpose\, Methodology/Design\, Results/Outco
 mes\, Discussion\, Conclusion\, Impact\, Poster Appearance/Layout\, and Pr
 esentation. Judges will likely be from outside of your field of study\, so
  it is important to explain your project to a lay audience. Judges may rea
 ch out with questions or comments during the judging process.\n\n3. Sugges
 ted Dimensions – Standard poster size is 48x36 inches\, but sizes can va
 ry. Board sizes to hang posters on will be 4’ x 4’.\n\n4. All poster p
 resenters must set up their posters 30 min prior to the start of their ass
 igned group session.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOral presentations:\n1. Your research t
 alk is meant to engage a wide audience and convey a broad scope of your re
 search or a single study.\n\n2. Upon acceptance\, you will be asked to sub
 mit your slide deck at least two days prior to the symposium\, for back up
  purposes!\n\n3. Make sure to practice your talk and stay within the time 
 limit of your presentation (i.e.\, 3 min or 10 min).\n\n4. Research talks 
 will be scored based on the Objective/Purpose\, Methodology/Design\, Resul
 ts/Outcomes\, Discussion\, Conclusion\, Impact\, Communication Skills\, an
 d Overall\nPresentation. Be prepared to explain the significance and main 
 points of your work to people outside of your field and be careful of the 
 professional jargon that you use.\n\n5. Make sure that what you say is com
 prehensive with rich content about your project. Present in an engaging ma
 nner\, making it interesting for the audience.\n\n6. Questions will follow
