The Department of Chemistry welcomes our new Academic Advisor, Briana Walls. Briana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Edgewood College and her Master of Arts in Leadership, with an emphasis in Student Affairs in Higher Education, from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Briana’s work intersects education, culture, and research; finding these fields reveal as much about people as they do about the structures that guide them. She has built her career navigating programs, curated environments, and interdisciplinary initiatives with a focus on clarity, intention, and the quiet architecture behind meaningful experiences. She is inspired by helping students find their “why” and solidify their identity while on their educational and life journeys.

When not on campus, Briana enjoys anything and everything Stray Kids and anime, arts, theatre, and culture. All of which lead into her pastime of international travel, learning Korean, content creation, attending K-Pop events and concerts, and going down a rabbit hole on social media.
