The Chemistry Department is a growing, active, and vibrant community of scholars at all levels. Gifts and donations to the Department from friends, alumni, and corporate sponsors enable us to continue our long standing tradition of excellence in chemistry education and research. Your generous donations allow us to support activities ranging from undergraduate scholarships for chemistry majors, to graduate research fellowships, to support for faculty research, and finally to attract and retain some of the brightest minds in Chemistry.

Now is a particularly exciting time to contribute to the Chemistry Department as we are excited to welcome the opening of our new building, as part of a larger science complex, to expand our research and teaching capabilities. In addition, we are working toward completion of the Dr. Robert Williams Professorship in Organic Chemistry, which will help us recruit new faculty with active research interests in cancer and/or infectious diseases. Finally, we are also working toward completing the endowments for a number of undergraduate scholarships – most notably the DiVerdi fund. This fund provides support for a deserving undergraduate and is given in honor of Dr. Leslie DiVerdi.

On behalf of the Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University, thank you for your support to help ensure our students, faculty, teaching, and research continues to grow for years to come.
