We want to welcome you to the resource center for our alumni and friends of the Department of Chemistry!
“I feel proud of all I’ve learned and all the challenges I’ve overcome in these few years. Of course, the pandemic gave everyone a whole host of additional challenges, but it does feel really rewarding to get to the other side and earn my degree.”
The fellowships honor extraordinary U.S. and Canadian researchers whose “creativity, innovation and research accomplishments make them stand out as the next generation of leaders.”
Liliana Gallegos is a Ph. D. student in CSU’s Department of Chemistry. She is researching ways to use computer modeling to make organic chemistry reactions more efficient and has also been awarded a Frontera Computational Science Fellowship.
