Dr. Charles (Chuck) Henry is a Professor of Chemistry and Biomedical and Chemical Engineering at Colorado State University whose work focuses on developing innovative analytical tools to address challenges in environmental and biological systems. His research centers on lab-on-a-chip and microfluidic technologies, enabling low-cost, high-performance sensors for applications such as environmental monitoring, clinical diagnostics, and public health. Through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates electrochemistry, materials science, and microfabrication, Dr. Henry has advanced the detection of pollutants, pathogens, and biomarkers, producing a substantial body of peer-reviewed publications and patents. In addition to his academic contributions, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to translating research into real-world impact through multiple startup ventures focused on sensing and diagnostic technologies.
