About the seminar:

Bismuth vanadate is a promising photocatalyst for use in solar energy to produce hydrogen fuel via the water-splitting reaction. Single-particle microscopy, spectroscopy, and electrochemical techniques explore how shape, size, and synthesis influence bismuth vanadate’s photocatalytic activity. This talk will investigate how single particle techniques combined with ensemble-level measurements allow for a wholistic study of bismuth vanadate’s photocatalytic ability.
