During the ACS 2024 Fall Conference, alumni, faculty, and friends came together for a reception to celebrate the honors and achievements of Colorado State University chemistry faculty and students. The evening included food and drinks accompanied by a few remarks by Department Chair Matt Shores. The evening was an opportunity for reconnection. Faculty reunited with students they hadn’t seen in years. Professor Alan Van Orden saw his first post-doc hire, and Professor Shores was reconnected with one of his first undergrads, Wes Kramer.

The reception showcased the department’s efforts to recognize our chemistry community. Our faculty, students, and alumni’s hard work does not go unnoticed; we look forward to celebrating future accomplishments!
